Supported devices & platforms

Yango Play is currently available on the following devices and platforms:

Portable devices:

  • iPhone with iOS 15.1 or higher
  • iPad
  • Smartphones with Android 8.0 or higher (API level 26)

TVs:

  • Android TV with Android 9 or higher
  • Samsung Tizen 2017 or later
  • LG WebOS 2016 or later

How can I install the Yango Play app?

To install the app on your mobile devices please follow the links to the appropriate application store and click Install:

To install the app on your SmartTV:

  1. Go to the app section of your TV
  2. Select Yango in the app bar
  3. Run it and follow the instructions

How can I connect my TV?

Check that you logged in to the Yango Play account from the devices, which help you connect the TV. There are two ways:

  • Scan the QR code
  • Enter the password from the screen on another device.

If you choose the first method:

  1. Open Yango Play on your smartphone.
  2. Log in with your account.
  3. Open Yango Play app on TV.
  4. Point your smartphone camera at the QR code.
  5. Log in to your account, and if you log in immediately, go to the next step.
  6. Move the Swipe to enter slider to the right.

Here's the second option:

  1. Open the Yango Play website on a computer or smartphone (depending on which device you will connect the TV).
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Open Yango Play on your TV.
  4. Go to play.yango.com/activate.
  5. Enter the code from the TV screen.
  6. Confirm the action.
