Yango Points are the cashback you earn when using Yango services for rides. It's like getting a little surprise every time you hit the road! Here's how it works: when you pay with a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or cash, you can earn up to 30% of your fare back as Yango Points after completing your ride. One point equals one OMR, allowing you to accumulate points for future adventures!

Note:

Yango Points can only be earned and spent with an active Yango Play subscription.
When you're ready to pay, you can either earn points or spend them — but not both in the same order.
Points cannot be exchanged for cash.

How to receive Yango Points?

To activate Yango Points on your rides, you need to either subscribe to Yango Play or log in to an active Yango Play subscription account. To activate the Yango Play subscription in the Yango app:

Scroll down the main screen of the app.
Click on the Meet Yango Play banner.
On the screen opened, read the subscription information thoroughly and click Join Yango Play.

Click on the purple button in the upper right corner.

How points are awarded

Points are credited only with an active Yango Play subscription.

Note:
Ensure you activate your Yango Play subscription before you start riding.

Points are earned when ordering through the Yango app.
Points are awarded immediately after payment, but on rare occasions, it may take up to 7 days to reflect on your account.
If there's a discount, your cashback will be calculated based on the new, lower price.
If you use a promo code for your ride, the cashback will be based only on the payment amount, excluding the promo code.
Points are only awarded after completing the ride.

How to spend Yango Points

From your account: When paying by card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay, you can choose to spend your points on rides or other Yango Services booked through the Yango app.

Now! Ready to spend your Yango Points? Here's how!

Before hopping in for your ride, set up how to use those points:
- If you're paying by card and points, the total fare cost is locked in until the ride ends. If all goes well, your points will be deducted. The remaining amount from the payment will be debited in OMR.
- If you pay entirely with points, your card will be charged a minimum ride cost of 0.11 OMR.
- Yango offers discounts. If you apply points after selecting a discount, the cashback percentage will be calculated based on the new price minus the points value.
- You will not receive cashback if you choose to spend points for the ride.

When can't I spend Yango Points

When paying in cash.

To spend Yango Points

Go to the menu (three horizontal lines in the top left).
Select the How you want to pay tab for Android or the Payment Methods tab for iOS.
Tap on Spend on your ride.
Place your order.

How many points do I have?

The number of points available is shown in the upper right corner of the Yango app's main screen. If you click the points icon, you will see the history of points charged. When ordering a trip, the tariff selection button will show how many points you earn.

How long are Yango Points valid?

As long as you are part of our family, your points are safe with us. You can use them at any time for as long as you need. However, if you decide to unsubscribe from the Yango Play, your points will become inactive after 30 days from the date when the subscription expired.
