How to spend Yango Points?

From your account: When paying by card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay, you can choose to spend your points on rides or other Yango Services booked through the Yango app.

To spend Yango Points, please follow this steps:

  1. Go to the menu (three horizontal lines in the top left).
  2. Select the How you want to pay tab for Android or the Payment Methods tab for iOS.
  3. Tap on Spend on your ride.
  4. Place your order.

Yango Points Redemption and Spending Rules:

Before hopping in for your ride, set up how to use those points:

  • If you're paying by card and points, the total fare cost is locked in until the ride ends. If all goes well, your points will be deducted. The remaining amount from the payment will be debited in AED.

  • You will 🚫not receive cashback "points", if you choose to spend points for the ride.

Using Points to receive a discount on a trip payment is ++only available++ if all the following conditions are met, here’s what you need to know 👇

  • Your pickup point needs to be in 📍Abu Dhabi, 📍Dubai or📍Ajman.

  • The specific trip will be paid by bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

  • No other bonuses, discounts, promocodes is applied to the specific ride.

The Organizer reserves the right to limit points redemption due to legislative requirements and/or at the request of government authorities. Additionally, the points redemption feature may be activated on a phased basis due to technical reasons.

No spending limitations. The discount is applied automatically, with a maximum discount of 100 AED. You will pay the rest with the card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
